We spent Bastille day touring Vieux Lyon in the morning. We learned how to 'trabouler.' This verb can be used only in Lyon and it means 'to cross the secret corridors / alleys ' in the city. These passages were created to transport large amounts of silk and were also quite useful during the resistance. After a delicious Provençal lunch on the ship, we went to a park that had a zoo. They had a 2 day old baby giraffe, but we only saw daddy. The younger folk played soccer and badminton while I enjoyed a pistachio ice cream lounging in the shade. Dinner was back on the boat and the crew surprised Zach with a happy birthday celebration. We did a 'fear factor' style tasting of lyonnaise cuisine. The evening was highlighted with a great display of fireworks. Another fun day !
Looks Like That Hamstring Is Healed. Lol.
