On the plane.

And we're off ! And reasonably on time ! On our way to JFK! 

Our flight is at 6:30pm tomorrow from JFK. We will land at Heathrow at 6:30am London time, but it will feel like midnight to us. We are staying at a hotel near the embankment on the Thames. I can't believe we are going to Europe ! I'm so looking forward to sharing this with my family.

Two days to go! The packing has begun - I hope it's very European to wear all black and white     , but I know I need a scarf or two ( perhaps buy there ?) and no baseball caps! Looks like I have room for more !

Six days til departure ! Our family saw the movie "Now You See Me" the other night and when a view of a Paris bridge and Ile de la Cite appeared, I was overwhelmed with excitement knowing that we would be there soon. We are looking forward to seeing so many of sites in and around London and France. I think we'll skip the midnight Jack the Ripper tour - not my cup of tea. The Rock and Roll tour, however, will "light my fire.'
